At Warehousing, we receive goods for all Business Units, ensuring their storage and distribution across Europe, fully tailored to our customers' needs. As the final link in the chain before delivery to the customer, our team is responsible for adjustments and repairs. Whether it’s a single item or a shipment of over 100 pallets, we handle it all. Given our heavy reliance on goods arriving primarily from the Far East, our team is expected to maintain a high level of flexibility.
The Finance department is the cash register of our company. Here, invoices for delivered goods are issued, and we closely monitor whether customers pay on time. In addition, we process cost invoices and the financial administration of received goods. The goal of this department is to provide the management with up-to-date and complete reports on financial performance, including profitability, margins, inventory, cash planning, currency management, and budgeting. Accurate administration also forms the basis for various tax filings.
Our Corporate Responsibility team, consisting of CR experts stationed at each HVEG Fashion Group location, plays a crucial role in integrating sustainability and compliance within our organization. They develop the Group CR strategy ‘Better Everyday,’ identify social and environmental opportunities and risks, monitor laws and regulations, and conduct regular visits and audits at our suppliers to ensure adherence to our Code of Conduct. We don’t do this alone; everyone within HVEG Fashion Group contributes to ‘Better Everyday.’
The Logistics department is involved from the moment goods are registered for shipment until they are delivered to the customer. We strive to ship goods in the most efficient way possible, often working closely with other Business Units. In addition to various external warehouses, we have several of our own facilities where containers are unloaded, goods are stored, or even shipped out the same day. With the help of our ERP and WMS systems, we aim to forecast and monitor processes as accurately as possible.
