HVEG Group brands receive B Corp certification

We are proud to share that Bamboo Basics, Brams Workwear, and Maison De Paris have been awarded B Corp certification. This milestone reflects our commitment to taking responsibility for how we operate as an organisation and the impact we create, independently verified against the highest standards.

Bamboo Basics, Brams Workwear, and Maison De Paris are now B Corp-certified brands within HVEG Group. This means we meet independently verified standards for how we operate as an organisation. This goes beyond our products and focuses on how we make decisions, collaborate with partners, and take responsibility for our impact.

What is B Corp

B Corp, short for Benefit Corporation, is an international certification awarded by the independent non-profit organisation B Lab. The certification is designed for companies that combine profit with demonstrable, positive impact on people, the environment, and society.

B Corp is not a product label but assesses the entire organisation. This includes areas such as governance, supply chain responsibility, working conditions, environmental impact, and transparency. Companies are assessed against strict criteria and must recertify every three years, placing continuous improvement at the centre.

B Corp certification shows that a company has been independently assessed, meets high standards, and is structurally committed to improving its performance. It represents a way of doing business in which responsibility, transparency, and long-term impact are embedded in daily practice.

How this is applied within HVEG Brands Group

Within HVEG Group, B Corp certification directly reflects how we fulfil our role as an organisation. We develop products that must perform in practice, while taking responsibility for how they are made and the impact associated with them.

To better understand and actively manage our environmental impact, lifecycle assessments are carried out across a large part of our product range. These assessments provide insight into key impact areas such as CO₂ emissions, energy use, and water consumption throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The outcomes are actively used to inform decision-making. For example, they have led to the transition from BCI cotton to organic cotton, with the aim of reducing environmental impact in the raw materials phase. These insights are structurally applied to improve material choices, optimise processes, and gradually reduce our ecological footprint.

Responsibility is also actively embedded within our supply chain. All suppliers have signed our Code of Conduct and operate in line with recognised social and environmental standards. Independent assessments are used to verify working conditions and environmental performance, ensuring that transparency and accountability are embedded at every stage of the process.

What B Corp means to us

B Corp certification means that we look beyond financial performance alone and take responsibility for how we operate. It means we are transparent about our performance, actively measure it, and continuously improve.

It does not mean everything is perfect or that every individual product has the same impact. It means that, as an organisation, we are structurally committed to improvement, based on independent assessment and clear frameworks.

B Corp confirms that HVEG Group is building a business in which commercial success and responsible impact go hand in hand.
