At HVEG Fashion Group, when we talk about people, we are not only talking about HVEG, but about all the members in the supply chain who are contributing to our product, work and processes. We want to improve working conditions, be transparent and continuously educate people.

Improving working conditions

At HVEG Fashion Group, we make sure that all the production units are member of a valid social initiative. Our standard is amfori BSCI. But we also have factories that have ICS, SLCP or any other initiative our customer needs.

Our CSR officers visit and onboard these production units, and we conduct our own HVEG audits to support and coach suppliers in continuous improvement efforts.

Being transparent

Transparency is crucial for connecting the dots of the problems in the fashion industry and understanding how to fix them. Therefore, without transparency, achieving an accountable and fair fashion industry will be impossible.

It is important and needed that laws and regulations, like the German Supply Chain act, are developed to increase the transparency. At HVEG, we are committed to achieving a 100% transparent supply chain and therefore we continuously work on keeping our Tier (factory) data up-to-date.

Improving knowledge on sustainability

We initiated the Sustainable Education Program aiming to enhance basic knowledge on sustainability and compliance, covering various focus areas.

The program comprises a range of activities, including webinars, workshops, newsletters, speakers, battles, idea boards, movie afternoons, and news items on our Intranet, all centered around our focus areas.

This is an ongoing program, because at HVEG we believe that gaining knowledge is utmost important in this transition.
